The New Forest Branch of the Friends of Chernobyl’s Children has been working since 2004 and is led by Moira Swayne. The Branch has 6 committee members but is always on the look out for new people willing to contribute to this initiative. The Branch hosts 10-12 children every year, who stay with local host families during the four weeks of June.
The New Forest Branch has its formal meeting place in the Burley Church Room, Church Lane, Burley. This is a place where children arrive and meet for their daily activities.
